920a626c17 * mark darwin as case sensitive, because the dircache isn't always used 
anymore (the dircache masks the effects of case-sensitive file
    systems on targets marked as case-aware)

3266f4e483 + Compiler support for pic on darwin/i386. The i386 rtl still needs 
to be made pic-safe (mainly accesses to the global default8087cw)
  * At the same time also made the non-pic code abi-compliant (access
    external data via indirect symbol pointers etc)

    Darwin/i386 also puts the got into a virtual register (like
    Darwin/ppc), a.o. because the register allocator fails to colour
    a routine in aasmcpu.pas if we take away ebx from it.

1cafdf7a59 * change darwin/i386 and ppc from case_sensitive into case_aware 
because the directory caching overrules the file system behaviour
    for case-insensitive systems (will do darwin/ppc64 separate because
    it can't be merged back)

1b25984563 + new tf_dwarf_relative_addresses target flag for platforms where all 
addresses which are specified as relative offsets in the dwarf
    spec must actually be emitted as relative offsets by the compiler
    (only set for Darwin currently, not yet used)

17e61456c6 * support for creating smartlinkable files under darwin. Don't turn on 
smartlinking (-XX) yet though, it doesn't work because of bugs in the
    current darwin linker regarding dealing with multiple symbols referring
    to the same address.

66f8276445 * refactor booleans in systeminfo structure, they are now flags 
* support for case aware filesystems (Windows), they do now only
    one lookup if a file exists
  * add -WI option to generate import section for DLL imports or
    let the linker handle it. Default is still import section until
    the Makefiles are fixed, then the generation can be left to the
    linker
