high(int64+1)..high(qword) if written in decimal notation) + test
* fixed range checking of qword constants parsed by the compiler
(they always gave a range error if > high(int64), because the compiler
internally stores them as int64)
* turn off range checking flag of rdconstnodes created by the parser
from _INTCONST, because those are already range checked by the
way they are parsed using val()

(and not for all s8bit..s64bit types, since subrange types may
be marked like that but not have a lower bound < 0).
This is needed for bitpacking negative values, because e.g.
both 0..7 and -3..3 can be stored in 3 bits, but 0..7 must be
zero-extended when extracted (so must be unsigned) and -3..3 must
be sign-extended when extracted (so must be considered signed)

* symtables based on TFPHashObjectList and TFPObjectList
* rename torddef.typ to torddef.ordtype
* rename tfloatdef.typ to tfloatdef.floattype
* rename tdef.deftype to tdef.typ
* remove obsolete browser code, browcol is kept so the ide
can still be compiled

+ use {$bitpacking on/+} to change the meaning of "packed"
into "bitpacked" for arrays. This is the default for MacPas.
You can also define individual arrays as "bitpacked", but
this is not encouraged since this keyword is not known by
other compilers and therefore makes your code unportable.
+ pack(unpackedarray,index,packedarray) to pack
length(packedarray) elements starting at
unpackedarray[index] into packedarray.
+ unpack(packedarray,unpackedarray,index) to unpack
packedarray into unpackedarray, with the first
element being stored at unpackedarray[index]
* todo:
* "open packed arrays" and rtti for packed arrays are not
yet supported
* gdb does not properly support bitpacked arrays
git-svn-id: trunk@4449 -
* use a linear cmp list instead of subtractions on ppc if low >=
low(smallint) and high <= high(word), because a compare does not
introduce any dependencies (and in those cases using subtractions
does not save any instructions or bytes either)

* change booleans in arraydef to set
* set option in arraydef to indicate a constant string so
a nicer type can be shown instead of array[0..x] of char

and aliases for result and function name are added using absolutesym
* vs_hidden parameter for funcret passed in parameter
* vs_hidden fixes
* writenode changed to printnode and released from extdebug
* -vp option added to generate a tree.log with the nodetree
* nicer printnode for statements, callnode
