d33b520690 Clean up peephole optimization code. 
Add hardfloat ABI option for RiscV. Still needs proper implementation though.

b80642c384 + started implementing support for generating Microsoft CodeView debug 
information. Only enabled on i8086 (for now). Does not do much yet, but
  hopefully, soon it'll start emitting line number information for i8086-msdos
  that is usable by DOS debuggers.

d115b0e8dc m68k: changed the internal name of 68k MacOS from system_m68k_mac to system_m68k_macos, so it's consistent with the PowerPC version. suggestion/request by Sven :)

4e51dc2298 m68k: enable named sections for vasm generated objects. have a separate as_m68k_as_aout for a.out objects which doesn't have named sections. amiga and atari gas defaults to a.out, so have it default on these systems. finally enable section smartlinking for amiga and atari, which will be used with vasm assembler

7c594b0288 + added support for using Clang as an assembler, and make it the default 
for all non-ppc(32/64) Darwin platforms
   o pass the macosx-version-min/iphoneos-version-min to clang as an assembler,
     so that it properly sets this information starting with Xcode 7 (solves
     errors when targeting the iOS simulator, and warnings about object files
     being compiled for a different OS X version when targeting (Mac) OS X)
   o the old assembler is still selectable via -Aas-darwin (required with
     Xcode 3.1.x and older)
   o since the first Xcode version that shipped with Clang is Xcode 3.2, which
     is available for Mac OS X 10.6, most users should not encounter any issues
     with the new default (in fact, it fixes some tests for x86 because Clang
     supports some instructions that "as" doesn't). Clang does not support
     Stabs however, so -gs does require the use of -Aas-darwin

c0b451e788 - removed as_darwin, since there is no difference with as_gas (there is no 
GNU as from binutils for Darwin, and Apple's "as" is based on an old
    version of GNU as)
   o this will not cause any backward compatibility problems, as the
     previous identifier for as_darwin was "AS-Darwin" and the compiler
     compared the uppercase value of the -A parameter to the identifier,
     so it was not explicitly selectable earlier. The new name is "AS",
     so it is explicitly selectable via -Aas like on other platforms.

165aaea8a4 * made a separate abi entry for powerpc_darwin, as it's not exactly the same 
as the AIX abi (especially on ppc64)
   o replaced (for now) all checks for the AIX abi with a check for either the
     AIX or Darwin abi
   o changed the ABI of Darwin/ppc, Darwin/ppc64 and Mac OS/ppc to
     abi_powerpc_darwin

cc418eef74 Added unified assembler syntax mode so it can be selected with $ASMMODE. 
Fixed bug in Mov instruction.
Added initial scanning of IT/LastInIT detection for proper instruction selection.
Disabled "wide" format flag detection again for now.

9e5979e8be Implemented UAL syntax support in the ARM assembler reader. Can be toggled with a field for now, but not implemented yet. Still using pre-UAL syntax for now. 
Switched codegeneration of VFPv2 and VFPv3 to use UAL mnemonics and syntax.
Updated VFP code in RTL to use UAL syntax too.
Added preliminary ELF support for ARM.
Added support for linking of WinCE COFF files. Should work for with a standard ARMv4-I target.

4431ba2c08 merged/updated AROS/i386 target to trunk from AROS branch, to support Marcus Sackrow's work on AROS support which will hopefully benefit all Amiga-like targets (classic, MorphOS) on the long run. Compiler only, RTL comes in the next run.
