code using signals unit to try to interrupt runaway executables
  + Global DosBoxProcess TProcess class variable.
  + Display modified lines  inside dosbox.conf if verbose
  * Try to use Terminate when program exceeds dosbox_timeout (in seconds)
  * Handle signals if UseSignals macro is set.

05542fbed9 Fix failure for windows make, related to the use of redirection, 
which on mingw32 make generate the use of a batch file, incompatible with
  forward slashes usd for createlst and gparmake.

  * utils/createlst.pp:
    Modify to add a first parameter with the name of the output file.

    Makefile.fpc: Adapt to new parameter of createlst.
    Change list name for directory TEST from TESTfilelist.lst to filelistTEST.lst
    to avoid generating files that start as the directory.

6a3466e81a + Also write 'Terminate requested...' to output, so that the 
information gets into log files if output is redirected.

78da04f8d5 + Add verbose boolean variable, set to false by default, 
set to true by setting environment variable DOSBOX_VERBOSE.
  Most output generated by the wrapper is now only given if 
  verbose is true.
  + New constant SkipUntilText, default value 'Drive C is mounted as ',
  allow to discard output generated by dosbox program up to the line
  containing this string.

1e38631cbe + (OutputFileName variable): Add possibility to use output duplicated to a file by a modified dosbox 
version, using an entry in [dos] section of dosbox.conf cinfig file.
  copy_con_to_file=/path/to/file/that/will/get/the/copy
  + (EchoOutput procedure) Write to ouput the content of this file so that it ends up into XXXX.elg file
  when checking test file XXXX.
  * Add use_temp_dir boolean variable, set to true by default, can be set to false by
  setting DOSBOX_NO_TEMPDIR env. variable.
  + Add hide_execution boolean variable (might only work on Windows),
  which sets SWOHide to Process.ShowWindow property if true.
  hide_execution defaults to true, but can be set to true by setting
  DOSBOX_NO_HIDE to set to false.
  + Add do_exit boolean variable (defaulting to true), which adds
  'exit' as last line into autoexec section in dosbox.conf.
  Use DOSBOX_NO_EXIT to avoid automatic closing of DosBox at the end of test
  execution (can bbe useful for debugging purposes).

* I've found that libc on Android does not implement widechar case functions such as towupper(). Such functions are just wrappers over regular char functions. Therefore the whole cwstring unit is useless for Android. For now I've added stub cwstring unit for Android and reverted all Android specific changes in unix/cwstring.pp. Later, Unicode manager for Androud should be implemented using libicuuc, which is default Android lib.

* Rework of Android startup code. It is needed to always link to libc on android to implement finalization and environment variables in shared libraries.
* Cleanup of Android linker.
* Use only INSERT command in the linker script to inject custom .fpc sections. Whole linker script duplication is nor needed anymore.
* Use BFD linker, since GOLD linker does not support INSERT command. Other incompatibilities may also exist.
* Enable tf_smartlink_sections for i386-android.
* i386-android is broken after this commit. Will be fixed later.

aeb3c002b0 * More correct fix for overview query. Use LEFT JOIN to explicitly specify order of tables to help MySQL to generate correct exec plan. 
* Speed-up history query by using TESTRESULTS as main table and TR_ID field for ordering.
* Test file or run id must be provided for history query. Print an error if not provided.
* Limit query results to 1000 records to prevent unnecessary server load.

49f9288611 * Due to buggy MySQL query plan optimizer, the existing tests overview query use incorrect execution plan which leads to long execution time. The SQL query has been changed to produce efficient execution plan. Now the overview form works correctly.

fbb0b48ad6 * Implemented { %DELFILES file1 file2 ... } directive for tests. Primarily it is needed to delete shared libraries used by tests when TEST_DELTEMP=1. When testing on a real Android device, it is not good to run tests on flash memory partitions. Android devices have 1Mb RAM based tempfs partition for /tmp folder, which is ideal for running tests. Since 1Mb is very small size these days, it is needed to clean all test leftovers. Test shared libraries are the biggest leftovers and this new DELFILES directive will help to delete them. 
* During remote execution, use && as a command separator after important commands such as CD to ensure that the command succeeded before running other commands. Group other commands using curly braces { }.

04df0d537e * more finegrained parallelism support for testsuite runs: the tests are no 
longer split per directory, but in chunks of 100 tests (configurable via
    the new CHUNKSIZE=xxx Makefile parameter), which then all can be checked
    in parallel
   o dependencies between tests are handled by always putting tests whose
     name is the same except for the last character into the same chunk
   o as previously, -jx can only be used for the "all" target, other targets
     cannot be executed in parallel
   o the "units" directory has been renamed "tstunits" because otherwise
     "make distclean" will remove it entirely now that the main tests
     makefile also compiles a program

252483ffd8 + support for running the testsuite in parallel. Note that only the "all" 
target can be run in parallel, so "clean", "digest" and/or "dbdigest"
    have to be run in separate make invocations if you wish to use -j for
    running the testsuite

88b00552a2 + Add support for target specific options 
example:  %OPT=-gl win32%-WN
    if % is found in OPT list, the string after % is only added
    to the compiler options if current target is
    contained in the list of the string before the % sign.
  + Add %DELOPT dotest option.
    can be used in two variants
    %DELOPT=-Crio
    will suppress -Criot from TEST_OPT if it appears exactly
    (-Criot will not match).
    %DELOPT=-C* will suppress all options starting with -C.

at startup to avoid need of constant use of lowercase function.
 + Added RemoteShell, RemoteShellBase and RemoteShellNeedsExport to
   be able to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH on remote connections.
   (Other checks might be necessary to avoid use of wrong environment
    settings for other shells).
 + TargetIsUnix: New variable, based on UNIX presence within
   target_info.extadefines field.

 + SpliTFileBase: New function returning only base part.

 + LibraryExists: New function to see if a library was created,
   Library name is also constructed based on target_info fields.
 * ExecuteRemote,ExecuteEmulated: moved to global scope to allow use at start
   to check type of shell used.
 * RunExecutable: Adapted to set env. varaible LD_LIBRARY_PATH for remote
   connections.
 + MaybeCopyFiles: New function to separate file copy operations.
 + SetRemoteConfiguration: New function to set RemoteShellXXX variables.
 * RunTest: Use LibraryExists to avoid running a library
   and possibly copy library to remote.

1c2a5f9819 + Update all Makefile's modified by 
change in utils/fpcm/fpcmake.ini in prevous commit.

  Adapt also other files to that change:

  * compiler/globals.pas: Replace $FPCTARGET by os_string if
  tf_use_8_3 flag is set for target_info also.

  * tests/Makefile.fpc: Modify TEST_TARGETSUFFIX in the same way
  as TARGETSUFFIX was modified in previous commit.

  * tests/utils/dotest.pp:
    + New variable UseOSOnly, set to true if only target OS name
    should be used for subdirectories.

8b0301409a + i386/iphonesim target for the new iPhoneSimulator in Xcode 3.2.4 and 
later: the same as i386/darwin, except
      a) uses the non-fragile Objective-C ABI/runtime
      b) does not require stubs for direct calls/jumps (not required for
         i386/darwin under 10.6 and later either, but still generated
         there for backwards compatibility)
      c) only the same packages are enabled as for ARM/Darwin
      d) MacOSAll is compiled specifically for the iPhoneSimulator SDK
    This target also defines the symbol "darwin" apart from the target
    name "iphonesim" for source code compatibility reasons.
